Your First Orthodontic Consultation
At Your First Orthodontic Appointment
The initial orthodontic consultation is about diagnosing orthodontic problems and forming a treatment plan. You will fill out some paperwork to help Dr. Hung understand your oral health history and get a good idea of your treatment goals. Dr. Hung will also take x-rays and photos to get a complete picture of what’s going on in your mouth. Dr. Hung will then perform an examination to see how your teeth align and perform.
Once all the information has been gathered, it will be time to start discussing treatment options, including an estimation of how long the treatment will take and a quote of the cost of treatment. If the appointment is for a minor child, a parent or legal guardian must be present.
